"Strange Days on Planet Earth"
Part 4
The Earth's surface is covered by 70% of the ocean's water.Plankton's are one of the smallest animals that feed by algae.Global Warming was not the cause that Plankton would disappear,but it was because the warmer the water gets,the less plankton there are.When the water is warm it makes it harder for the animals to survive.If the crab dies then the predator that eats the crab gets affected too by not having what to eat.We are all interconnected by each other like if you put something in the Earth then the person gets affected.These coral reefs are having diseases too because they are have less color and less fish in it.Dust is causing for this disease happen.More and more dust is being swept away into the air to the America's.The Pathogens is making for the corals be in disease.The Earth's rise is affecting the atmosphere.This affects the dust to be spread more.That means that we are getting the Earth to be warmer because too much CO2 is being released by many gases.If people would start not using too much gases meaning the transportation,it can make a difference by decreasing the climate disasters.
Part 5
The ocean is rising,so that means that some animals are there and when they stay more than 2 days they will die and that also mean that the animals are going to starve from food.There has been more changes because people are seeing new transformations of plants and animals in Lake Guri,Venezuela.Before the flood,Lake Guri had a lot of predators and a lot of plants.Now it's quiet.On Iguana Island there are many reptiles and monkeys packed where they can't fit.The ants,the monkeys,and the reptiles are being destructive because more predators are being dead because of the flood and more prey come.If they kill predators then more herbivores are coming and some are causing for diseases.Predators are dangerous,but we do need them.The vegetation that animals need is not there and they need it to survive without it,they don't have anything.There are less animals,but trees are not there either.Trees in Yellowstone are disappearing and researchers are figuring out what was causing these trees to disappear.The Aspen Trees are not generating since then.Wolves are disappearing too because they see that they killing them because this was the predator.Since the wolves are being killed Elks are now living.Beavers are living too because now they can build their dam and they make the water be filled with nutrients.There are also predators in the ocean like the shark.The coral Reefs are dying from suffocating.Only the part of the top is alive and the bottom layer there are skeletons.The algae has been taking over the coral reefs which makes the coral harder for them to grow.90% of the fish are gone.There are many spots in the ocean that are empty and those empty spots are now spreading.Fishermen are having trouble finding he fish because there are no fish and sometimes they said that it will take them sometimes a day.Other times they lose their sight and wont come back.Some fish have tripled their reserves.With that,fishermen are starting to catch bigger fish.When they put them onto the reserves they have a better chance of living.Some predators are in cages,but find their way out.We do need predators too.
Part 6
The Leopard Frog is not the only one in trouble because other frogs have flourished over years.These frogs might look healthy,but they have eggs inside. Atrozine is killing the frogs.The frogs that he got,are mostly from the waters that have in Atrizine.Most of the frogs that live in pure water are the ones that are healthy.The males are the ones that are living in waters that have Atrizines in.Larger dosis are the ones who are safe.Atrizine can harm animals.Water doesn't stay put.Water has worked into rivers.The whales are known as the canaries of the seas because of their voice and those are called Beluga Whales.The Beluga Whales are the ones that have the highest cancer.The Beluga Whales are being contaminated by some chemicals that nobody knows and these can be hurting the Beluga's skin or they might be just eating something.Some fish are being contaminated by mercury.90% are the fish that are being contaminated.They get contaminated by eating other prey.Some plants have control of not getting contaminated.Bacteria was processed by mercury.He succeeded on getting mercury get eaten by plants.Many of these Synthetic chemicals get runned of many rivers.The Great Barrier Reef has the extraordinary corals.There has been outbreaks in the corals because there are crowns of thorns that are eating it and that they are killing it.More starfish larvae can survive by the nitrogen.There has been runoff that's is really affecting The Great Barrier Reef.Not nearly enough to reach the chemicals water.Some people are helping for the chemicals not get into the water.Some researchers are being worried because sharks,whales,and other ones have toxins in their tiles.The mola mola has toxins in eat that nobody knows what are the toxins that they have because they are always away from the reef.They have chemicals in it that researchers are tracking them with a device to see what chemicals they have inside of them.By their things or characteristics,they are giving their message of the water,the environment,and how the animals and plants are living.

"Strange Days On Planet Earth"

Part 1
There has been global changes that have been going around the Earth.Researchers are finding species like plants and animals to be where they are not supposed to be.Researchers are using Rapid Assessment which means that they are seeing that new species come in every day.The alien species are spreading diseases,devouring the buildings.Every day there are more alien arrival.In New Orleans,termites are eating some of the houses which some of the houses are destroyed,so they are basically eating up and down.They are sticking in to the walls,so they are building more colonies.They all share the food.
Part 2
If one population dies from the species,then the other population that is the prey will increase.Weevils are useful other fisherman because there was a plant that they had a great impact called the Hyacinth.Other species are invading other places like tree snake or the killer bees.Erosion has been washing away,so living species in the water can have no sunlight into the ocean.These leaves that are called aconia can be really dangerous for Hawaii because it can be a landslide,even though it looks like it is pretty.
Part 3
7,000 thousand species are in motion.Researchers are finding out what the species are coming in that live in the ocean.In San Francisco there are more species coming from other places.Big animals transported small animals.Now that we have transportation and that includes cars,planes,and buses are now moving everywhere,then there would be less species.We have been taking plants ans animals with us.There has been climate change around.We have increased the Earth's temperature because of the gases that we are using.This problem has huge effect on the Earth and the species.The temperature has been increased by 11 degrees.60,000 animals vanished away that's because of the rising temperature.Without these animals we wouldn't be here,so we need every animal.When it's winter,it makes the Karibu be in trouble from the predators like the wolves.Those people in the world are only thinking of themselves and about their family and they are surviving.Some people don't even know what to do because CO2 has been increasing more and that can be threating to many species,so that's a global problem.

The Age Of Stupid
I really liked the movie because they are explaining why is the world been changing.Like for example,Global Warming is affecting to the Glaciers because they are melting down and for the people is sad because they are seeing how the world is changing.They were also talking about how Oil is the main problem of why the world is changing.Some of these people don't know about these things,but the groceries that we buy are from oil because the food needs to be transported because that's what trucks need,they need oil to run.Nigeria which is in Africa that country is very poor because of the oil that is killing off the fish and instead of having a lot of fish,they have little because they are already polluted.A company named Shell,wanted to make a company there,but people from there,they didn't want them to put one.The military came and started shooting people and some of these people hided on the forest which they didn't even eat a whole week.When they were thirsty they would drink of water that had been dirty,and some of these women that had hidden were pregnant and because they had been drinking that dirty water their children died.I think that oil is the main cause for having too much disasters around the world especially for the species that live on the water.Some people don't even know about why these disasters happen.The people of Nigeria want to have the kind of life that America has because they want things that we want like bedrooms for example.There was also a Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans,so it destroyed many of the things they had.Some people were talking about having wind farms,but people did not agree with the idea.Some people protested because it blocked their view,but that doesn't make any sense.Other people in other places protest too because they wanted to double the tunnel,but other people disagreed and they got onto the street and didn't want any transportation like trucks,but that wasn't enough.Still people disagree in many things.I really liked this video it tells so much how is the world changing even more.

Hi my name is Ana, and my topic that I chose was Pollution because there are a lot of places were they are polluted.I also chose this topic was because I think that Pollution is the worst thing that could ever happen in the Earth.Here are some of the stuff that I researched.

Coral Reef Adventure

The movie about the Coral Reefs was basically about the Coral Reefs why are they endangered,what are they,and what is causing it to be in danger.Coral Reefs are made from tiny organisms,which they are found in the South Pacific.Even though they look like just plain coral reefs that don't do anything,they are also beneficial or help us with things.They are beneficial because they restore health,provide fish,they have chemical compounds which they are produced for the chronic pain,people rely on food,they give medical cures,and they protect the land from the violent seas.Coral Reefs are endangered and the reasons why they are endangered is because of Ocean Warming and for cutting down forests,but the main cause is for Ocean Warming.The reason why coral reefs are affected because cutting down forests is because,the dirt or the silk from the trees fall off when a forest is cut.There are these kind of trees that prevent from the silk to not move,and these are called mangoes.The Coral Reefs have lived over 60,000,000 years of existence.Coral Reefs are pretty because they sway like flowers,all corals are animals.One of the interesting fact that I think was interesting was that the Great Barrier Reef is one of the largest of them all.The fish also protect the corals from the seaweeds.Corals basically eat algae and it's one of the most important things to the coral.People that go diving underwater also get affected by the bends because when they go deeper in the ocean,there's a short amount of oxygen if you go deeper and darker into it.Corals are also beneficial to animals like for example,the octopus.Since crabs most of the time live on corals,the octopus main source of food is the crab.Without the crab,the octopus will starve to death and have a short amount of energy.Corals are white when they starve for not eating algae for a long period of time.For this not to happen we can also help prevent Coral Reefs from being destroyed by not cutting a great amount of trees because the dirt will fall and then go into the water.Coral Reefs are beneficial to any kind of living thing in the world.
