Gamers Solve Scientific Problems

How did gamers use the computer game Foldit to solve the protein folding mystery?
Well, they untangled the structure of a protein that could be used to eliminate the AIDS virus in humans.

Who can participate in this problem solving and be a player in Foldit?
Well, they allow any gamers to solve this problem, like they don't have to have a background to solve puzzles that continue to mystify scientists today, so it can be any gamer.

What can critical thinking do for science?
Well, it can help them find out things that they didn't know like how to face the HIV in our lives.I t say that the new refined structure provides new insights for the design of antiretroviral drugs.

If you could solve a mystery through gaming for any kind of disease or illness in the world, what would it be?
Well, now that the question is asked I would like to solve the mystery of diabetes.I am so interested in this one because my mom's family has it and I think that it would be really interesting if we can do any gaming with this type of disease or illness
